La Coalition pour la sécurité alimentaire communautaire (Community Food Security Coalition - CFSC) a décerné au Mouvement des sans-terre du Brésil le 3ème Prix annuel de la souveraineté alimentaire. La récompense a été remise le 6 novembre 2011 à l’occasion de la 15ème Conférence Annuelle de CFSC, à Oakland, Californie, USA.
